Shill-O-Meter: L'Appetito
We're not going to lie, we're a sucker for a good Italian sub. Given that, we have a soft spot in our heart for L'Appetito, the Italian deli with two downtown-ish locations. But then this showed up in the user review queue:
I ended up going here because I usually go to the water tower for lunch, then I walked over to Jamba Juice under the John Hancock [1]. Right next door to Jamba Juice, I saw this place [2]. I walked in the it was cozy with a deli towards the back of the store. It wasn't a deli like a neighborhood with stinky meat, but friendly faces waiting to help [3]. I went to the and ordered a turkey sub and it was GREAT! Great meat, bread and a wide varity of Italian deli meats. It was great [4]. The sandwich is about $6 but it is worth it [5]. Everytime I go in, they are always friendly. Don't pass this up! You should try to go here instead of The Cheesecake Factory, which is adjacent to it. [6]
1. Actually, this does not really explain why or how you ended up going here. Did you already have lunch at Water Tower and then go get juice at Jamba and then have a second sandwich? Really?
2. Oh hey, it's located near the Jamba Juice! Can I remind you of that?
3. Not like those other delis, manned by surly human-hating gnome-demons. With their stinky meat.
4. I think you might have forgotten to mention that it was great.
5. Expensive! But we'll rationalize it!
6. In case you've never heard of Jamba Juice, it's also near The Cheesecake Factory! You have no excuse for not being able to find this deli!
