Took her to Graham Elliot last night. Amuse: Foielipops - foie gras on a stick coated with poprocks. Classic GEBowles. A sensory mindfuck. First course: Maine Lobster salad w/blood oranges, chili oil, pickled fennel. Second course: Toasted almond bisque w/caramelized onions, green apples, lavender marshmallow. Third course: Black sea bass on soba noodle cake, pureed carrots, water chestnuts, jasmine foam. Fourth course: Braised short ribs w/ young coconut, hearts of palm, avocado & hibiscus jus. Nothing short of spectacular. Dessert course: Dark chocolate beignets, pomegranate seed & syrup, toasted pistachios, vanilla gelato. I mean, wow.
