Grant Achatz: Blogger!

The Atlantic, that stodgy old magazine that our mom reads vibrant pillar of contemporary journalism, has quite the crackling web presence, thanks to its army of whipsmart single-author politicoblogs and its recent launch of multi-contributor “verticals” on the topics of Business and Politics. Our NYC sibling Grub Street notes that they’re now adding Food to that roster, set to go live soon (it’s not there yet) at food.theatlantic.com.

The Atlantic’s food editor, the inimitable Corby Kummer (who you might have caught on last night’s premiere of The Chopping Block) will be leading the charge, with big-name contributors like Tim and Nina Zagat, Ari Weinzweig of Zingerman’s deli in Ann Arbor, and, oh yeah, Grant Achatz.

We repeat: Grant Achatz will be blogging for The Atlantic. We plan to stalk cover this exhaustively.
