The Cheeseburger Show: Kevin Pang and his Cavalcade of Stars

cheeseburger_stuspivak.jpgKevin Pang is famous (to us, at least) for his role as the Tribune's official cheeseburger bureau chief. But print is dead, blah blah, so Pang is taking the cheeseburgers on the road. In a series of twitters he reveals that "Starting April 16, I'll be hosting a show on CLTV and online called "The Cheeseburger Show". We go out with friends and eat burgers in Chicago and break it down. We ask chefs to show us how to make burgers. We have musical guests performing. We annoy the hell out of people with our hidden camera."

People, this is our kind of television. So where can we catch it? Pang tweets: "This will air on CLTV 6 times a week starting Thurs 4/16 at 7:30pm, in high definition online and downloadable as an HD podcast off iTunes." And who will be there? "We've got guest food critics: Len Kasper, @petersagal, @electraq101, Doug Sohn and the baddest rapper in the country, Rhymefest"

As the video promo (click to watch) puts it: Cheeseburgers FTW! A show about cheeseburgers. With lots of famous people. And close-up food shots. Faces we recognize: Mike Cain, Doug Sohn, Homaro Cantu, Q101 DJ Electra, and then we got too excited to be able to pay attention any more.
