Mado Gets Some New York Love

The New York Times continues its love affair with Chicago, turning over yesterday’s Travel section to a glowing writeup of Bucktown’s Mado. Reviewer Monica Davey finds a lot to love about Rob and Allie Levitt’s pared-down approach to flavor and sourcing. Highly praised as “farmhouse simplicity in a complicated, recessionary time,” Davies notes that “Mediterranean influences…seep through, but mainly this is just good food.” [New York Times]
