Would You Buy An El Bulli Reservation on EBay?

Got an itch to eat at the best restaurant in the world, and a couple thousand dollars burning a hole in your pocket? Get over to eBay, quick: Chicago Foodies notes that a lucky lady in Beverly Hills, California was one of the precious few (from a pool of a reported two million requests) to land a reservation at El Bulli, chef Ferran Adria’s famed restaurant on Spain’s Costa Brava. Sadly for her (but perhaps luckily for you), she and her boyfriend broke up and now she can’t go. So she’s taking the obvious way out: selling the reservation on eBay.

As of this writing the listing has zero bids, and a starting price of $1,250. (Small blessings: shipping is free!) And this is just for the reservation — when it comes to airfare, lodging, and the cost of the meal, the winner’s on their own. [Chicago Foodies]
