In honor of Venetian Night, 312 Chicago chef Luca Corazzina is rolling out a special prix fixe starting tomorrow and running through Friday. The five-course menu highlights the best of Venetian cuisine — it’s a seafood-focused extravaganza with highlights like a fritto misto incorporating calamari, smelt, baby scallops, shrimp, and salmon; linguini con seppie featuring cuttlefish and market-fresh asparagus; and baccala alla veneziana with grilled polenta. And to ensure that special this-Italian-dinner-tastes-like-it-was-made-by-mama feeling, Corazzina’s mother, Gabriella, will be working with him in the kitchen while this special menu is running. Awww. Read on for the full menu.
