On the Menu at Division Ale House: Irish Nachos and Corned Beef Spring Rolls

Division Ale House, the Wicker Park Irish-style pub from People Lounge’s Baris Yuksel, is slated to open its doors next Friday, July 24 in the former home of Vintage Wine Bar. It’s your standard Celtic-inspired drinking spot (flat-screens showing both sorts of football; a dart-throwing area that converts into a dance floor), but the real draw is the bar’s 80-ounce “beer towers” — tabletop taps fitted with an interior chilling cylinder that will sate five thirsty drinkers (or one committed lush).

But what it is you’ll be drunkenly ordering after you down one of these suckers? Irish nachos, maybe, or some leprechaun wings — or you can go for the truly crass and ask your server to bring over an Irish pipe bomb, a stunningly awesome/awful sounding concoction of fried spring rolls filled with corned beef, Swiss cheese and shredded green cabbage.
