Longman and Eagle, the “update of the traditional Chicago inn concept” (read: bar with bedrooms attached; really, we can’t call it a hotel in good conscience, because that ruins our lovely mental image of fireplaces and homey coverlets) coming from the team behind Empty Bottle, is solidly on its way to a January 15 opening — that’s less than a month away, for all you people planning to get too drunk to get home.
