We know some of what we can expect from Stephanie Izard’s forthcoming restaurant The Girl and the Goat — lots of charcuterie, lots of wine, lots of that Izard je ne sais quoi — but at the South Beach Burger Bash yesterday evening, she turned out an actual foodstuff bearing the restaurant’s imprimatur. Ladies and Gs, the Girl and the Goat burger, a.k.a. the “Sweet and Spicy”: ground beef and bacon with sweet onion ailoi and kimchee relish. Will we be seeing this on a West Loop menu soon?
