What to Eat at Deca in the Ritz-Carlton Chicago

The Art Deco themed Deca just opened in the lobby of the Ritz-Carlton, and we got a sample of a few of the dishes at a press event yesterday. The menu focuses on traditional bistro cuisine, with a definite light hand thanks to a local spring ingredients. At the event Executive Chef Mark Payne stressed the need to keep the menu affordable, “I wanted to create something that had both accessible food at an accessible price.” All the entrées are under $30, with most hovering around the $20 price point. The restaurant will also be offering bottles and glasses of wine for half price until Labor Day with a dinner purcahse. The full dinner menu is after the break, with pictures of the small samples they dished out. Don’t worry, all the food on the regular menu will be bigger.
