Cumin isn’t rumored to open until next week, but this “modern” Nepalese and Indian restaurant posted a teaser menu on their window to give everyone a sneak peek. As advertised it’s an assortment of Indian favorites (samosas and lamb curry) along with something called Gorkhali Khasi, which we kind of assume is Nepalese. At the very least it is cooked “village style.” We’re not exactly sure what that means, but it sounds oddly delicious. The partial menu is below.

Cumin

Samosa - Crisp cones filled with spice-seasoned vegetables or meat

Momo - Nepalese dumplings filled with minced meat and Neapalese herbs and spices

Tandoori Chicken, Lamb, or Shrimp - Marinated and cooked in Tandoor

Chicken Tikka Masala - Marinated boneless chicken cooked in tandoor, simmered in sauce

Lamb Curry - Diced lamb, marinated in Indian spices in a thick curry sauce

Gorkhali Khasi - Goat cooked village style, Nepalese herbs and spices

Naan - Oversized dough leavened, cooked in Tandoor
