While most publications, chefs, and…um…us, have been drumming up today as the ultimate moment when the good forces of food trucks get to battle the alderman, The Chicago Reader has always maintained the sober stance that things are a far way off. Guess what happened? The motion has been delayed. 32nd Ward alderman Scott Waguespack told the Reader that he is “working on revisions,” stating that it is “the right plan and it will succeed despite the details that need ironing out.” Mike Sula strains for the high road through most of the piece, before slyly dropping, “Don’t say I didn’t tell you so,” at the very end.
