The 312 Dining Diva reports that Michael Bisbee and Colin Comer will open a new barbecue joint in the River North at 119 W. Hubbard. This is the team behind RiNo, Manor, and the Cedar Hotel. The opening is planned for early next year. The PR pitch goes like this: “Plans also include a restaurant/lounge below the space, to offer a unique Rugged American menu - think foodie friendly wild game and riffs on the BBQ theme from upstairs.” We’re thinking this will definitely be more of your stylized rugged fare, than actual rugged fare served on bare tables with paper towels.
