If we were to make a list of the restaurants most likely to host a farmers markets, we're pretty sure Sixteen would not be up there at the top that elegant dining room overlooking the Chicago River is about as far from rustic as you can get. But on September 2, the sixteenth floor terrace at Trump Tower will host a farmers market (perhaps the highest-off-the-ground one ever?) comprised of Chef Frank Brunaccis favorite purveyors, including local standbys like Nichols, Slagel and Mint Creek Farms. Brunacci will be serving a farm-to-table breakfast featuring ingredients from the market, so that after breakfast his guests can stroll out to the terrace and purchase the same locally grown ingredients they were just eating.
