Chick-fil-A Comes to the City

Soon to be everywhere.
Soon to be everywhere.

Chick-fil-A may have just opened its first suburban store yesterday, but with word that the turnout was “on track as the strongest opening day” in the company’s history, you better believe that more stores are on the way. In fact, the Atlanta-based fried chicken joint just announced its first two locations in the city. The first will open in the Fall of 2011 along Elston in Lincoln Park, with the second one to follow shortly in the Water Tower Place on Michigan Avenue. The company is planning dozens of more locations in the suburbs, meaning that eventually this will probably just be another fast food joint, instead of a reason to camp out all night. Who knew Chicago would fall so hard for fast food? [Crain’s]
