Paul Kahan let slip to Feast Boston that he had “shaken hands on a space” for a new restaurant, which he claims is near The Publican. “Hopefully we’ll be opening something there within the year.” As for what the restaurant will serve, he ultimately held back: “I can’t tell you. I’ll be giving away too much.” He claimed that if he let’s people know the concept beforehand, “then people beat us to the punch.” Our minds are racing with possibilities. But the big question is whether he’ll continue to go towards the more approachable route of Big Star, or whether he’ll change directions and go high end. Still, very exciting.
