Have $10,000 and like short films? Bill Kim (Urban Belly, Belly Shack) is helping raise money for his sister-law, Yasmina Cadiz, to create a new film called The Avian Revolution. You can watch a preview of the film over at Kick Starter. If you pledge the top amount you could have Bill Kim, plus a surprise guest chef, come to your kitchen and cook dinner. Up for the running is Stephanie Izard (Girl & the Goat), Mindy Segal (Hot Chocolate), Michael Sheerin (Blackbird), Rob and Allison Levitt (The Butcher and Larder), Takashi Yagihashi (Takashi), Jason McLeod (Ria), Giuseppe Tentori (Boka), and Chris Pandel (The Bristol). Hopefully someone is in charge of the dishes, too. Anyway, we’re guessing the Cadiz had something to do with this promo, because it’s one of the more entertaining pitches we’ve seen.
