First Look at Maude’s Liquor Bar, Now Open

The latest addition to the raucous West Loop dining scene is Maude’s Liquor Bar, a rustic French lounge with penchant for sausages and seafood. We had a look at the menu a few days ago, and were excited to see what executive chef, Jeff Pikus, could do. Last night we dropped by to see how the whole operation was looking on its second day. As the pictures on their website showcased, the room is dark, moody, and very comfortable. We could also describe the food as being the exact same way. You know, except for the $115 Maude’s Plateaux, which is a massive seafood tower of crab legs, clams, and oysters. Anyway, you’ll need to take a look around for yourself below.
