What to Eat

Preview of What to Eat at Red Light with New Executive Chef Ryan Fowler

Red Light gets a new direction.
Red Light gets a new direction.

Back in November we found out that longtime Red Light chef, Jackie Shen, was leaving the West Town Pan Asian staple. Luckily, it didn’t take too long for the restaurant to pick Ryan Fowler to take the position. While his new menu won’t officially launch until mid-February, we already have a preview of what he is planning to do thanks to a new special running for the next month. From January 17 through February 15, you can sample either a Vegan or “non-Vegan” $20.11 three course prix-fixe menu of all original dishes. Obviously, we are as surprised as you to see “non-Vegan” being thrown around with such disregard for us meat eaters, but apparently Fowler will be increasing the number of vegetarian and vegan dishes at the restaurant, so we better get used to it. Check both menus out for yourself below.
