Just so you know: Ditka has already called the game for the Bears, so I’m not really sure we even need to watch them play the Packers this Sunday for the NFC Championship. But if there is one thing Chicagoans love as much as sports, it’s great food. Of course, the kind of food that is best to eat while watching the game differs dramatically from person to person. Luckily, there have been loads of roundups of where the best bars and restaurant are to eat while you watch the game.

The award for the most exhaustive list of options goes to the folks at Time Out, which had so many picks they had to sub divide them into categories. Chicagoist also gathered a list of the best restaurant deals where you can also watch the game.

But you don’t have to go out to show your love for the Bears. The Sun Times went on the lookout for the best Bear-themed foodstuffs. They came back with blue and orange cupcakes from Bleeding Heart Bakery, and one big pizza from The Dough Boys. The new Scott Harris joint will be is offering a special three foot long pizza al metro called the Chicago Pie. It includes sausage, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, homemade giardiniera and onions. Best part: You can get it to say, “Go Bears” in sausage. Best of luck men. .
