Food & Wine just released its list of “America’s Best New Bars,” and we’re proud to report that the very deserving Sable is recognized. Unfortunately, what’s ultimately most shocking is that Aviary also made the list. Though they note that it is “Too New to Review,” they perhaps forgot to note that it is also too new to actually be open and serving customers — and it will probably be like that for a month or so. Of course, this has become something of a trend, as numerous magazines have been including unopened Grant Achatz projects in lists for the past four months or so. Still, it would have been nice if Food & Wine had done a little research. The two-sentence blurb claims that Aviary is located inside Next, which is not actually true. Instead, it will be located next door to Next, will have its own address, and will feature a completely different food menu. Oh well. [Food & Wine]
