In case you haven’t been paying attention, Grant Achatz’s new book, Life, On the Line, was finally released today, and he’s giving a Q&A; tonight at the Harold Washington Library with co-author Nick Kokonas. But you know you’ve finally reached the big time when you get a long interview with Terry Gross on Fresh Air. The 43 minute interview touches on his career, cancer, and how he goes about creates dishes for Alinea. We know this is probably the tenth time you’ve heard these same stories, but for some reason we were sucked in thanks to Gross’s generous interviewing style, and couldn’t stop listening.
