Just a day after Goose Island announced that it had been acquired by Anheuser‑Busch to help with its expansion, another brewery in Chicago decided it needed some more room. Revolution Brewing in Logan Square is nearly always packed, so it makes sense that it would want to expand. But what’s most surprising is that it will also be making the jump from neighborhood brewpub to an actual brewery. The company is set to open a 35,000 square-foot production facility, which will allow them to can their own beers and distribute them around the city. So, hopefully by the start of 2012, Revolution Brewing’s beer will be coming to a bar near you. [Trib, Eater]
