The Dangers of ‘Market Price’

We’ve all been there before. That seafood entree at a local restaurant sounds absolutely delicious, but it’s listed as “market price” on the menu, and that usually means that it will cost way too much. A local 40-year-old man from nearby Mokena obviously forgot to ask the waitress before he ordered the market price platter at Tinley Park’s Outriggers Fish House, as he actually started a fight when he found out that he’d been charged $64.99. The man, who was dining with is ex-wife and young kid, got furious over the “steep” bill, and then attacked the owner. He was arrested, the ex-wife and kid were escorted to the police station because she was considered “too intoxicated to drive,” and the owner of the restaurant is in the hospital with eight broken ribs and a collapsed lung.
