What to Eat at Fish Bar; Plus a Look Around

A little over a year after two fine dining chefs (David Morton and Michael Kornick) decided to team up and create DMK Burger Bar, the two have opened a new seafood joint called Fish Bar. Its name kind of says everything. Like DMK, which is immediately next door, it features an approachable menu where everything is under $20, but where each dish looks like it had a professional chef carefully create it. We were able to take a look around last night, and also got our hands on the full menu. You can check out both after the jump.

As befits a seafood joint, the restaurant is decked out in light blue, boats, and other nautical gear. But what about the menu? Turns out there is a little bit of everything, as the menu is divided into eight different sections, including raw, fried, and a la plancha. There are raw oysters, of course, but you can also find ceviche, carpaccio, and something call fried belly clams clams.

As the name also suggests, there is a lot to drink. All of the cocktails are called “Sea Sippers,” and there is even a drink called the “Negroni Baloney.” Of course, you could also settle for a beer or a glass of wine.

Check out both the drink and dinner menu, and the slideshow and let us know what you think.
