In town to “talk about the economy” and raise money for his campaign, Mitt Romney took some time to sample some deep-dish pizza at Gino’s East. Apparently his crew had some leftovers, and instead of simply throwing them away, he decided to send them to President Obama’s reelection headquarters at One Prudential Plaza. While this episode initially sounded like a joke, ABC confirmed with a campaign source at Obama’s headquarters that the pizzas did arrive. In fact, Romney even took a picture of the guy who made the delivery. While we are not exactly sure what the gesture means, we would like to point out that Gino’s East pizza does reheat pretty well.
