• Steve Dolinsky reports that Terragusto will be changing things up at its Lincoln Park location. The restaurant will actually close this Sunday, and then reopen on May 18 as what’s being called a pastaterra. Only a few meat entrées will be available, as the shop will focus more of its energy on its “13 homemade pastas.” Expect lower prices and a more casual atmosphere. Don’t worry, the original Roscoe Village location will stay the same. [WBEZ]

• Need a new place for pancakes in Lakeview? Lulu Belle’s Pancake House, which aims to serve “good ole’ country cooking,” opens today. The new spot will be open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week, though we don’t recommend splurging on deep fried waffles every single day of the week. [Urban Daddy]

• Eater reports that Bistro Voltaire will be taking over the former Bar Louie space in River North. The French bistro is set to open in “early June,” and plans to serve an “authentically French” menu. While just about every bistro claims to do this, it seems like the restaurant is actually serious. It was actually able to lure Paris chef Claudine Hubert to Chicago to run the kitchen. [Eater]
