Sure, Chicago is doing pretty well in the former Top Chef contestant department. We have loads of great chefs who have competed, and a winner or two. But if you simply can’t get enough of the Bravo TV show and also have something of a gambling habit, you’re in luck this summer. Fabio Viviani (season five and Top Chef: All Stars contestant), Harold Dieterle (season one winner), and Richard Blais (Top Chef: All-Stars winner), will all be taking turns cooking at the Lake of the Torches Resort Casino in Wisconsin on select Thursdays in August. It would have been far more convenient if the series was being held at that proposed Chicago casino, but consider this more of an extended vacation. Lake of the Torches Resort Casino is located in Lac du Flambeau, WI, and they have a collection of chartered bus options.
