River North: Rumors are swirling that Michael Jordan’s Steak House is set to open next Tuesday, August 23 for dinner. Metromix claims it is official. For what it’s worth, the restaurant predicted it would open “the week of August 22,” and considering how much the restaurant loves the number 23, this would totally not surprise us. [Metromix]

Wicker Park: As of Monday, Between Boutique Café & Lounge is now Between Peruvian Café & Lounge. The move was done to reflect the restaurant’s embrace of the South American cuisine and to celebrate what they are claiming to be Chicago’s first pisco bar. Check out the updated menu here. Wrigleyville: Deuce’s and the Diamond Club is still in soft-opening mode, which means it will only be open on weekends and Cub’s home games. For now, you can sample a limited menu, but a full menu will be unleashed during the grand opening planned for mid-September. [UrbanDaddy]

Irving Park: The FishGuy Market is already one of the best places to score fresh seafood in the city, but now you’ll be able to have them cook it for you, too. Wellfleet will be located at the same address, and will be open for lunch and dinner six days a week. Look for it to open around Thanksgiving. [Chicago Mag, 5th item]
