The last thing that The Black Sheep needed was more bad news, but here we go: According to Eater, the front of house staff walked out before service on Saturday, leaving the restaurant’s future in a particularly precarious state. The move apparently happened after the servers realized there was no “wine or spirits to sell customers.” Of course, this comes a month after the kitchen staff left due to the firing of chef de cuisine Phil Rubino and pastry chef Sarah Jordan. No official word from chef and owner James Toland, but The Black Sheep’s Facebook page admits that it is “Closed now.” [Eater]
