Broad Shoulders Brewing Coming To South Loop Summer 2012

Adding to Chicago’s thriving craft beer scene and the growing South Loop “Motor Row” strip, Sloopin’ reports that new brewery Broad Shoulders Brewing will be tapping into 2337 S. Michigan in summer 2012. The brewery will be run by Frank Lassandrello, a former Goose Island brewer and Quality Control Manager at Milwaukee’s Lakefront Brewery. As for the beers, the Session Lager and a British Style Pale Ale, will be the mainstays, with four seasonal brews including a Continental Style Pilsner, Munich Helles, and Brown Rye Lager. In an interesting move, Lassandrello is opting for packaged six packs instead of bottles—something we’ve only seen at Half Acre. Hopefully they’ll be good enough for drinking instead of shot gunning.
