Chicago Gets Its Own Indian-Themed Food Truck, Curry Cruiser

Another day, another food truck in Chicago: Leaving no cuisine untouched, yet another specialty truck has entered the great Chicago food truck race—this time, an Indian-themed truck appropriately titled Curry Cruiser.

Considering India’s street food ranks among the world’s best, it’s actually surprising someone didn’t think on this sooner. The truck, which rolled out December 13, is offering curryrolls made with spicy chicken, pork, or chickpea rolled up in housemade flatbread and garnished with pickled vegetables, chutney, spiced crema, and slaw.

The only problem seems to be tracking it down, since there is no posted schedule, and Facebook and Twitter posts are limited to ambiguous stops around River North. However, advance large orders (eight curryrolls or more) placed through delivery@currycruiser.com beats the hassle of chasing a truck with delivery to your doorstep.
