Good news for South Siders: that Garrett Popcorn shop in Chatham that we told you about is finally opening up tomorrow.
According to the Sun-Times, the ever-popular gourmet popcorn chain is opening its 10th area store at 737 E. 87th St. tomorrow at 11 a.m. The Chatham location marks the first neighborhood storefront for the chain, which currently has seven downtown locations and two shops at O’Hare International Airport. Undoubtedly, the new location won’t be short of it usual snaking lines—especially during the grand opening when the first shoppers will receive free treat-sized bags of its signature Chicago Mix (a blend of cheese and caramel popcorn).
