Three Floyd’s, Revolution Brewing Start Construction

We love beer just as much as the next drunkard, so we’re happy to see that two of Chicagoland’s most beloved brewpubs are expanding their facilities to keep the taps free flowing. As we first reported back in March, Logan Square’s Revolution Brewing is in the works of creating a massive production facility on the Northwest side. According to our pals at Chicagoist, owner Josh Deth and co. have already broken ground, with a “Tron”-esque virtual preview that shows promises of more beer and substantial drinking space. Meanwhile, the folks Three Floyd’s in Munster, Indiana have started construction on the ‘woefully undersized” brewpub kitchen, plus some more bells and whistles in the adjacent brewery. Between the forthcoming South Loop brewery we reported on yesterday and these two expansions, it looks like 2012 is already shaping up to be a beer-filled year.

According to this graphic, there seems to be ample space for running a lightcycle through.
