With so many breweries popping up, we have to admit we didn’t know about Argus Brewery, but we were won over more or less instantly by the fact that they brew in an old Schlitz distribution facility in Pullman, adorned with terra-cotta horse heads (we said old distribution facility, as in horse-drawn). But you can find out plenty more about them Thursday, March 8 at Public House when they debut Jarrett Payton’s All-American Wheat Ale, brewed in collaboration with the son of Bears football legend Walter Payton. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., the beer starts flowing at 6 p.m.
