Lots and lots of news, including vacations for some local places and who knows what all. First item: Sarah’s Pastries and Candies, which was going to have to move from its Oak Street location as the building was redeveloped, has decided to shut down entirely. Owner Sarah Levy won a cake challenge on the Food Network and is one of those Levys, so we suspect there are more and bigger things ahead. Plus, she defeated Natalie Zarzour, so she’s truly invincible.

• Uptown’s upscale Indian joint Marigold is leaving that neighborhood and moving to Andersonville sometime this fall. We await pronouncements on whether Andersonville is ready for that. [Eater]

• Apparently it’s just an idea he’s throwing around, but Charlie Trotter says he wants to invite Guy Fieri and Anthony Bourdain to his last night and throw a no-fancy-stuff hoedown to say goodbye to his iconic restaurant. [Chicago Business]

• Three Floyds is cutting buyers of its beer at the brewery off after two cases, not six as it has been. Too many of you have been racing down there and stocking up, leaving their distributors with nothing to distribute. [LTHForum]

• Places going on vacation that we know about: Acadia will be closed for summer break on Sunday, July 1, reopening Wednesday, July 11. J.P. Graziano’s will be closed for the week of Monday, July 2 and reopen Monday, July 9. Honky Tonk BBQ will be closed Monday, July 2 through Thursday, July 5. Hot Doug’s, surprisingly, will only be closed on July 4.
