You saw Richie Farina on Top Chef, but that’s not real life. The kitchen at Moto isn’t exactly normal reality, either, but to commemorate his promotion to partner, Moto presents a new video showing what it’s like to be chef de cuisine of one of the city’s (and country’s) most innovative restaurants, from morning to night. Not coincidentally, it’s also a very cool look at the creation and plating of several interesting, only-at-Moto dishes. It’s 8 minutes; watch it below. And while you’re at it… want to live the life of Richie Farina for a day, for real? Plus dinner for two at Moto? iNG., Moto’s sister restaurant, is looking for suggestions for its next concept once the current Scorsese meal is over in mid-November. Submit your concept— which has to fit into Twitter length of 140 characters or less— through iNG’s Facebook page or on Twitter via @ingrestaurant by November 3, and the winner of “most inventive menu theme” will get to be Guest Chef for a day in the Moto kitchen with Richie Farina, plus winning dinner for two at Moto, while the runner up receives dinner for two at iNG. So start thinking like Richie.
