Ryan Poli To Head Up Little Market Brasserie for Mercadito in The Talbott Hotel

The Mercadito team has been running a pop-up in The Talbott Hotel (10 E. Delaware) this summer with their drink partners the Tippling Bros., but we’ve been waiting to hear what the real restaurant moving into the space would be. Well, now we know: Ryan Poli, chef of Mercadito’s Tavernita and Barcito, will also run Little Market Brasserie, a 150-seat French restaurant correction: “American brasserie” [sic] with a 125-seat sidewalk cafe. The menu is described as being based in classic brasserie dishes, but with twists representing the influence of various international cuisines, which makes sense given that Poli’s first love is Spanish food. The partnership with the Tippling Bros. will also continue, with the bar program being built around house-brewed sodas which can be mixed with the spirit of choice. There will, needless to say, also be a wine and beer list. No word yet on an opening date.
