Just when you thought you had everything you needed in this city, Gospel House Cafe & Music ups the ante, fusing Gospel tunes with Asian-Mexican-Italian cuisine on Beverly Blvd. in Koreatown. First founded in Seoul by Reverend Kwang-won Choi & Ok-hyun Choi in 1986, the restaurant features your standard-issue aquarium up front and wood floors and tables throughout, with recorded Christian music, occasional gospel performances, and a weekly talent show to spice it up.

The menu bites off more than one might expect , including fish tacos, nacho salad, tortilla pizza, fried chicken, Vietnamese spring rolls, garlic chicken, shaved ice, and a selection of pastas, as well as coffee, fruit juice, and Mighty Leaf tea. Dessert includes fried cookies and cream.

No booze, but a BYOB policy is in place, making it instantly more fun than a Mitt Romney post-election party. The restaurant is open daily, but stops the rock on Sundays, for somewhat obvious reasons. Check out the full menu online.
