CityEats, the Food Network-backed competitor for online reservation heavyweight OpenTable that launched here in Philly back in April, is pitching in to help out those affected by Superstorm Sandy’s temper tantrum up and down the east coast. From now, and going forward through Thanksgiving (November 22), the company will donate $10 to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for every reservation booked through the site. You’ll have to set up an account, and punch in the promotional code “recovery” when booking your tables in order for the donation to go through. Local brewpub chain Iron Hill is getting in on the post-Sandy philanthropic tip, too.

On Tuesday, November 13, all nine locations are hosting the Give 20 Fundraiser, which also benefits the Red Cross. From 11 a.m. through 10 p.m., guest who present Give 20 vouchers — download them here — when paying their tab, will see 20 percent of the check donated to recovery efforts. The voucher excludes sales of beer and other alcoholic beverages.

On Saturday, Smokin’ Betty’s is hosting a Thanksgiving party that will also serve as a benefit for Sandy’s victims. The bar and restaurant will have discounts on select drinks, and will donate all proceeds to relief efforts. The fun starts at 10 p.m., and $5 at the door gets you in.

Beginning tonight, and going through until Sunday, Revel in Atlantic City and its entertainment properties will host Revel Nightlife Relief, which will donate all ticket and door sales for HQ Nightclub’s events to the Chris Christie-founded Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund, which is focusing efforts on Atlantic City and surrounding communities most affected by the storm.
