Want to know what’s going on in the world of cocktails not just in Chicago, but all around the scene? Be at Drumbar on certain Tuesday nights. Mixologist Craig Schoettler kicked off his series of visits by mixologists from all around a couple of weeks ago with Violet Hour alum Troy Sidle of Alchemy Consulting in New York, and it continues tonight with Simon Ford, who ran Koba in Brighton before signing on as a brand ambassador for Plymouth Gin, preaching the gospel of classic English cocktails around the world. He’ll be behind the bar with Schoettler, beginning at 5 p.m. Next up is Jason Bran of The Roger Room in Los Angeles, who’ll be in residence on March 26.
