Here's something to do this Friday night that's early enough to put you back out on the street for food and drink that evening— oh, and it's designed to inspire your desire for the same. And we've got a pair of tickets to give away. It's 2nd Story Presents: Tales From the Table, four true tales of food and life performed by the authors, who include legendary restaurateur and next Check, Please! host Ina Pinkney, at whose restaurant it will be and whose story, incidentally, will make you cry (in a good way!). The others are storyteller Jessica Young, Molly Each (editor of the Sun-Times' Splash), and, well, ourselves. And it comes with noshes from Ina, plus a cash bar. Doors open at 5:30 for the 6:00 p.m. show, which will have you back out for dinner by 7:30. And we'll give away a pair of tickets to one person who tweets the hashtag #InaSureCanTellAGreatStoryGrubStreet in the next 24 hours. Otherwise, tickets are $20; get them here. And that's just one of the way cool food and style-related things happening this weekend at Fete Chicago; check out the whole schedule here.
