An Entire Town Is Livid Because a Restaurant’s New Sign Features a Giant Bull Penis

The townspeople of Hurricane City, Utah, have declared war on a local restaurant owner after he installed this garishly well-endowed bull on his restaurant’s sign, providing views of its copper, cone-shaped genitalia from all angles:

Now there’s a Change.org petition asking the town not to renew Barista’s liquor license, and it has almost 600 signatures (Hurricane City’s population: 14,362).

But Barista’s owner, Stephen Ward, has maintained he has a God-given, constitutional right to display that sign, and that at 34 feet and 11 inches, it also meets all of the city’s ordinances (which apparently don’t do much beyond limit the height to under 35 feet).

He says this fight is personal, and that Hurricane City residents hate him, not his sign: “If I put Pinocchio up there, its nose would be too big.” Residents plan to take the fight to city council, while Ward is so angry that he wants to sue the city. As he put it: “They picked a fight with the wrong guy.”
