Paula Deen is back in full force. Since her brutal 2013 fall from grace, the Queen of Southern Cuisine has been slowly easing herself back into public view with things like a Candy Crush–style phone app and a digital network mostly full of Home Cooking reruns. But starting Thursday, if you get (and watch) a channel called Evine Live — a pretty big if — you can catch three solid hours of Deen on Paula Deen’s Kitchen, a new live show where the chef “will offer an exclusive assortment of food and pantry items for purchase, including her Signature Ham, Ooey Gooey Butter Cake mix, sugar-free chocolates, cooking-essential spices and rubs.”

If this sounds like a glorified Home Shopping Network gig, that’s because it is. Evine CEO Mark Bozek tells Bloomberg that the channel, which just changed its name from ShopHQ, is bringing in all kinds of new food talent as part of a makeover, including Todd English, who’ll debut a line of titanium cookware, apparently. As for Deen, Bozek says she’s made a few mistakes, but he expects great stuff — she “has a good soul” and “a huge fan base.”
